How long does the band normally perform?

We provide continuous entertainment for your event. When the band takes a break a DJ is included in the price and he keeps the party going. He can also provide songs that the band does not perform and you may want to hear. Please let us know of requests in advance of the affair or you can provide additional CD's for the DJ to play. The amount of time that the band is on stage is based upon your caterer's serving needs. We normally start out with dance material in order to get your guests in a party mood. When the caterer starts to serve we normally take a break and let the DJ play cocktail music so that your guests can enjoy dinner. In between courses we return to play dance music. When dinner is finished we will continue on with the party !!


Do you offer entertainment for cocktail hour?

Cocktail hour can consist of a keyboardist, a violinist, classical guitarist or any combination of instrumentation depending on what you would prefer ! Cocktail hour is an additional charge per hour depending on your choice of musicians.


What kind of music does your band perform?

We have an extensive song list that includes everything from big band to the latest Top 40 Dance Hits. You and your guests may make requests and we will be glad to perform them if they are songs that we know.


What is the instrumentation of your band?

Keyboards, Bass, Guitar, Drums, Trumpet, Sax, DJ, and 2 Vocalists
If you have a smaller budget we can offer you a smaller version of the band.


What does the Band Wear for a performance?

We have three different types of dress:

Formal Black Tie

Formal Vest and Tie With No Jacket

Smart Casual Black Pants And Shirt

Females Wear Gowns or Formal Slacks And Top.


How far is the band willing to travel ?

We will travel a radius of 75 miles before we must ad additional travel charges. We are willing to travel anywhere as long as we reach an agreeable sum to cover expenses for the engagement.


What is the price range for the band ?

Many variables can affect the price for our entertainment services.
Prices vary from $2,500.00 to $5,000.00 for the band with a DJ included for a 4 hour affair. Please call us for an accurate quote for your affair @ 1-856-667-7567


Will the band learn a song for our first dance or a special request ?

Our band performs an extensive library of material, but if we don't do a song that you want to hear we will learn 1 song for an event provided it is a song that we can perform with our instrumentation.

How much space is needed for the band to perform ?

The ideal amount of space that we would require is about 200 square feet (10 X 20). We are used to using the space that is available to us and we can usually make most situations work out. We also require at least four 20 amp outlets. When we use special lighting we would have to discuss the electrical needs for the event.


What information does the band leader need to perform at my wedding.

Please fill out the Wedding Planner that is available on our website and mail it to the band leader at least 60 days before the engagement.


Do I have any control over the material played at my party ?

You certainly have a say in what we play at your party and we discuss your wishes prior to the event. We will set up some form of meeting with you to discuss all of the details. We have been performing and entertaining for many years and it is our job to know when and what to play in order for your guests to have a great time that they will not forget. We advise you as a client not to try and control the material played at your party and to try and remember that this is why you have chosen our band in the first place. We are professionals in this field and we have experience in performing for all age groups. Just relax and enjoy your special day. Leave the driving to us.



Will the people we saw at the showcase be the same ones at the event ?

We do not use different musicians. We are a band and we use the same members all of the time. We can't predict the future, but provided that no one leaves the band or gets ill the members that you saw when you contracted us will be the ones performing. If there is a change, we always strive to hire the best in the field available at that time. If someone is sick for your event we will get a substitute that will replace that person.


Can you provide music for the ceremony ?

We can provide vocalists and musicians for your ceremony. This is also an additional charge as per your choices.


How do I pay for your services ?

Visa and Master card are accepted. You will be billed by Successful Seasons, Inc. if paying by credit card. You may also pay by personal check. We require 1/3 down upon signing the contract, second payment of 1/3 is due 90 days before the event and the final 1/3 payment is due 14 days prior to the event , when paying by check. The balance may be paid on the day of the event in cash prior to the performance, to the band leader George Bittner. Questions about payment terms call 1-856-667-7567.
 

What is your band's refund policy ?

All deposits are non refundable. If a date is cancelled the odds are that the band will loose that date due to the timing involved in booking a band for an affair. We are sorry but this is our policy !


Punchline has performed at hundreds of private affairs over the
past 20 years. During this time we have had many experiences with all types of situations. We suggest the following things to remember when planning a party!!
• Please try to keep any speeches short so that guests do not get bored.
• Please allow us to do our job and not try to run the affair. You should remember to have fun and let us do what you are paying us to do!
• Please do not insist on picking every song the band will perform.
• We are experienced at keeping all of your guests dancing. We do a wide variety of material so that everyone has a good time. The best way for your guests to have a great time is to allow them to become involved in the party. Although you may not like various types of music you should try to remember that you have invited many guests and they should have a good time at your affair!!


CONTRACT MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL. ANY CHANGES TO A CONTRACT MUST BE AGREED UPON BY ALL PARTIES AND PUT IN WRITING.
